Alain Joséphine holds a National Superior Diploma of Plastic Expression, art option, obtained at the School of Fine Arts and Decorative Arts of Bordeaux. He became a member of the CEREAP (the Centre for Study and Research in Aesthetics and Plastic Arts) under the direction of Dominique Berthet. In his  paintings  and  drawings,  Joséphine  questions  the  spaces  that  characterised his  childhood. He approaches them by reflecting  on  the  different  components  at play in  their visible  construction in order to establish  his own distinct pictorial reality. The presence of  the body in these spaces is also central to his concerns. Alain Joséphine will be presented by TAFETA.
