OOA GALLERY
Established in 2013, OOA GALLERY is located south of Barcelona, an area renowned for its rich cultural heritage. Its primary focus is promoting contemporary African art by collaborating closely with an esteemed roster of international artists, collectors, patrons, art fairs, and museums across the world.
Since its conception, the gallery has remained dedicated to providing a unique platform for both emerging and established artists to express their distinctive narratives, values, and experiences through artistic talent. Conducting eight group and solo shows yearly, the gallery aims to support them in exploring, evolving, and thriving in their unique respective artistic endeavours.
In April 2023, OOA GALLERY furthered its support for represented artists by establishing a dedicated space for artistic residencies in Barcelona. This inspiring location, nestled in a natural and verdant environment, offers full accommodation and high-quality materials for resident artists, fostering creativity and facilitating intercultural exchanges.
