
Following 30 years of commitment to the promotion of African arts with her first gallery, Arts Pluriels, Simone Guirandou NʼDiaye established LouiSimone Guirandou Gallery with her daughter, Gazelle Guirandou-N’Diaye, in 2015. LouiSimone Guirandou Gallery supports contemporary artists including: Nu Barreto, Alun Be, Dimbeng, Ernest Dükü, Ablade Glover, NʼDoye Douts, Yseult YZ Digan, Dominique Zinkpè and designers such as Ousmane MʼBaye and Jean-Servais Somian. Through a programme of curated solo and group exhibitions and participation at international art fairs, the Gallery provides their artists with a platform in Côte dʼIvoire and abroad. An art historian and leading contributor to the Arts in Côte dʼIvoire, Simone Guirandou-Ndiaye curated the first International Exhibition of Plastic Arts of Abidjan (SIAPA). She is a member of the National Academy of Sciences, Arts, Cultures of Africa and African Diasporas (ASCAD) and the International Association of Art Critics (AICA).
