Established in Tunis in 1994 and in Dubai in 2015, Elmarsa is committed to promoting leading modern and contemporary artists from North Africa. Through its diverse and ambitious programming, Elmarsa has fast become a leading venue in Tunisia, presenting prominent artists and introducing emerging artists through major exhibitions. The gallery has developed projects and exhibitions with Nejib Belkhodja, Farid Belkahia, Nja Mahdaoui, Abderrazak Sahli, Mahjoub Ben Bella, Rachid Koraichi, Gouider Triki, Khaled Ben Slimane, Rafik El Kamel, as well as pioneers such as Aly Ben Salem, Ammar Farhat, Hatim El Mekki, Abdelkader Guermaz, Jelal Ben Abdallah, Hassan El Glaoui, Aly Bellegha, M’Hamed Issiakhem, Abdelaziz Gorgi, Mohammed Khadda, Baya and Brahim Dhahak. Elmarsa has played a critical role in introducing North African artists to an international audience and important collectors at international art fairs, as well as generating interest within the northern region.
