
Alshaikh Idrees is a visual artist and painter who uses his brush to capture the essence of his subjects, whether it be the busy streets of the city, daily movements, public spaces, or the city’s rhythms. Idrees’ artworks consist of large-scale paintings using mainly acrylics on canvas.
Idrees is a member of many artistic societies, such as the Union of Fine Artists, the Saudi Culture and Arts Association, and the House of Fine Artists. He has had 16 solo exhibitions and more than a hundred group shows. He curated the Okaz Market art prize in Saudi Arabia in 2013 and has taught various artistic courses. In addition, his artworks have been collected both locally and internationally.
