Pegge is a visual artist and musician focusing on the experiences of young Blackness. With the objective of showing the rise and the present of what he lives, hears and sees, the artist uses self-portrait painting, placing his body in the centre of what he exhibits, thus creating a perspective for future diasporas. Working with oil painting since 2019, his compositions go back to scenes of flash or sunlight, working spaces where the time of action is always in the present or past and what happens or has happened always reveals an intention of the next event. The artist presents his collection of more recent paintings in which his narrative is highlighted, detailing his interest in presenting the reality around it.
