Sitor Senghor created (S)ITOR as a platform for international contemporary art following a longstanding commitment to interior design and collecting antiques. A seasoned collector and art advisor, Senghor champions emerging and established artists from Africa and its diaspora through dedicated projects with the aim of sharing their work with an international audience and connecting artists and collectors. Drawing on his relationship to art and design, Senghor strives to highlight the universality of artistic forms by nurturing a diverse range of practices from around the world, with a focus on photography and painting.
