HOA Galeria is the first Black-owned gallery from Brazil’s history of art, based in São Paulo, Brazil. Dedicated to a decolonial perspective of contemporary art focused on artists from indigenous, African, and Asian diaspora narratives, HOA represents 14 emerging artists and accumulates a network of more than 40 artists from all over the country that are building a new vision about decolonial culture in the local scenario. From painting to three-dimensional works, HOA presents a large diversity of mediums in order to construct a multimedia relationship with a new generation of artists, thinkers, and curators. HOA has exhibited at institutions and fairs such as Instituto Tomie Ohtake, the Marina Abramovic Institute, São Paulo Cultural Centre, ZONAMACO, 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair, and more.
