Galerie SINIYA28 was established by Hadia Temli, in March 2016, with the aim of supporting emerging and established artists from Morocco and abroad. Its mission is to democratise art and increase its accessibility to young and amateur collectors. The gallery’s current programme is focused on three self-taught artists from Essaouira: Abdelmalek Berhiss, Ali Maimoun and Regragui Bouslai, representing the multifaceted cultural identity of Morocco that is rooted in Arabic, Amazigh and African heritage.

Galerie SINIYA28 has worked closely with art institutions and foundations in both Morocco and Europe to actively promote from Essaouira. Represented artists are on permanent display at the Sa Bassa Blanca Museum in Mallorca and have been featured in exhibitions at L’institut du Monde Arabe in Paris, the Musée International de l’Art Naïf in Nice, the Musée d’Art et de la Culture de l’Amerique in Zurich, the Musée Mohamed VI in Rabat, and the MACAAL.
