Established in 2018, Afikaris is a young gallery promoting artists whose life and work have been greatly influenced by Africa. Working with young talents as well as internationally recognised artists, Afikaris presents their perspectives on a multi-faceted contemporary Africa and strives to gather all these talents and respective visions into a large community of artists who can learn from one another through cross-generational exchange.
The gallery, which operates online, has a showroom in Paris and is active around the world participating in international fairs and travelling exhibitions.
