Mouna Saboni’s photographic work focuses on the quest for identity, questioning personal memories that are intimately linked to territory. Through long-term projects carried out in the Palestinian territories, in Morocco and in Brazil, she questions her own relationship to the territories on which she evolves and the one of individuals to their environment.
Saboni has exhibited her work in Mexico, the Netherlands, China and Japan. In 2012 and 2014, she participated in Les Rencontres de la Photographie, Arles. In the same year, her work was included in the collection of the Neuflize Vie Foundation for Photography. In 2020, Saboni was awarded The Photography Award of the Jean-Luc Lagardère Foundation.
