Multimedia artist Audrey Lyall uses a variety of materials in her work, from collaged paper to found objects, to create maximalist Afrofuturist paintings, sculptures, and clothing. Within her artistic practice, she navigates a variety of concepts such as racial identity, beauty standards, and perception. Her most recent works explore the dichotomy between artificial beauty regimens and traditional beauty practices in relationship to the African diaspora. Lyall graduated from Pratt Institute with a BA in Critical and Visual Studies.
