For 1:54, Revue Noire presents a carefully curated selection of photography books, featured in the fair’s bookshop. The selected publications also include original prints.

Among those that give the artist a mirror, the gallery a tool, the reader a sense of context, the editor plays a key role: to create a text that truly represents the artist. Yielding tomes where the image can be equally at home on the page as hanging on gallery walls, the art books presented include original prints, bridging the gap between the unique artwork and its multiple referents. The magical dialogue between the object, the fine art paper, the frame, all culminate in a piece of art itself.
