Four Southern African artists exhibited by Nando’s, in Collaboration with Yellowwoods Art
Founded in 1987 in Johannesburg, South Africa, Nando’s is an international dining restaurant chain famed for its Mozambican and Portuguese themed cuisine. With South Africa remaining the cultural heart of the brand, Nando’s operates as a patron of contemporary art through its close partnership with Cape Town based Yellowwoods Art — a firm that facilitates a skills development ‘ecosystem’ through programs that create opportunities for artists.
Through this partnership, Nando’s and Yellowwoods Art have cultivated one of the largest contemporary Southern African art collections in the world. For 1:54, they present the work of four talented artists who feature in the Nando’s UK collection.
