Founded in 2008, L’Atelier 21 is committed to supporting and encouraging artistic development and has established itself as a space dedicated to the promotion and diffusion of plastic arts in Morocco. L’Atelier 21 is first and foremost a space devoted to multidisciplinary arts and aims to discover, defend, sell, and promote the works of modern or contemporary Moroccan artists with a particular interest in artists from the diaspora. These artists bring new perspectives to the apprehension of an order of reality. This approach endows their works with a world of representations that crystallise many of the subjects that are in the limelight today.
L’Atelier 21 is the first Moroccan art gallery to have introduced its artists in international fairs in the early 2010s. In order to promote the work of these artists and highlight their contribution to contemporary art, the gallery participates in international art fairs, such as Art Paris, Art Dubai, and 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair.
