Galerie La La Lande was founded in 2019. After three years in the 14th arrondissement, it moved to the heart of the rue Quincampoix in Paris, at the feet of the Pompidou Center. The gallery puts forward artists from the MENA region, with poetic and political works. Their common points are themes related to wandering, exile, and quest, as well as a focus on questioning identities, genres, and norms.
The gallery aspires to deconstruct and put forward alternative reflections. The primary aim is to reach out to people and make art accessible — making it part of a dialogue. Galerie La La Lande’s artists question and dissect ‘dominant norms’ through their work, redefining malleable and evolving identities, free from prejudice.
