Founded in 2010, Galerie Carole Kvasnevski organises exhibitions in its physical space in Paris and also participates in international projects. The gallery promotes work by artists from the African continent and its diasporas, representing emerging artists such as Jean David Nkot, Marc Padeu, Lindokuhle Khumalo, and established artists including Angèle Etoundi Essamba and Zanele Muholi. The gallery’s curatorial line primarily promotes creations that raise environmental and social questions.
The gallery collaborates with many institutions in France such as Ecole nationale supérieure d’arts de Paris Cergy (ENSAPC), École supérieure d’art de Clermont Métropole, L’Institut français, Cité Internationale des Arts de Paris, Musée Bargoin and Centre D’art Contemporain de Meymac. Galerie Carole Kvasnevski is a member of the Comité Professionnel des Galeries d’Art in France.
