Safaa Mazirh is a self-taught artist who was first introduced to photography through the Fotografi’Art Association of young photographers in Rabat, Morocco. Fascinated by the body and its movements on stage, Mazirh collaborated closely with several theater companies to explore this thematic and construct her own dramatisation of the real. She has participated in several international exhibitions such as Ségou’Art - Salon d’Art Contemporain du Mali, Ségou (2017); Dak’Art – Biennale de l’Art Africain Contemporain, Dakar (2016) and Le Maroc contemporain, Institut du monde arabe, Paris (2015).
