The exhibition ‘Knotted Ties’ is now open!

Knotted Ties, a life-affirming exhibition of work by women textile artists at Christie’s Rockefeller Plaza, is now open!

A curated selection of works by women artists, the exhibition contemplates the power and strength of textile work and its capacity to convey humanity’s entangled histories, challenging social landscapes, and complex realities. These works instigate debate while also offering the idea of mediative resolve through resilience, reminding us of the importance of community nurturing and constructive dialogue as we create futures through uncertain times.

Knotted Ties will feature work by by AmbroseIgi Lola AyedunJoana Choumali, Lidia LisbôaKimathi MafafoTuriya MagadlelaDindga McCannonShervone NecklesJosie Love Roebuck, and Tina Williams Brewer. Furthermore, Dindga McCannon and Tina Williams Brewer will be in conversation with Kilolo Luckett during 1-54 Forum New York on Wednesday, 19 May at 1pm EST / 6pm BST.
